Shakti

An initiative by Sanjog, in collaboration with Partners in Anti Trafficking and BBSS in West Bengal, Shakti, is a community-based rehabilitation programme for survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Tafteesh

A consortium-based coalition of survivors, lawyers, social workers, probation officers, psychologists, sociologists, researchers, investigation and rescue specialists, and human rights activists, Tafteesh aims to strengthen the systems of justice delivery to survivors of human trafficking.

Utthan

Utthan is a leadership training programme that is rooted in the idea of restorative care. It is a 15-women collective of survivors, who have taken it upon themselves to fight trafficking together.

Leadership Next

A leadership programme for survivors of human trafficking, Leadership Next seeks to reverse the idea of victimhood, which is self-perpetuating and makes it difficult to restore the survivors’ power, agency and confidence.

Kaarya

A social business programme, Kaarya helps build the capacities of grassroots community-based organisations in rural areas. It aims to engender economic self-sufficiency in young women, especially survivors of trafficking, who return home to rural areas. Policy Development

Count Us In

Count Us In is a national survivor-led campaign by Sanjog that promotes community-based rehabilitation in India. By centring survivor leadership and advocacy, it challenges institutional approaches to rehabilitation and works toward equity, dignity, and justice for survivors of trafficking, gender-based violence, and exclusion.
