This development has quite expectedly, brought a lot of relief to the residents of the area. However having said, Jinnatun adds that there are many interior areas which is yet to receive electricity.rnrn2) Alor Disha, a self-help group in Basirhat II, met for the first time since the lockdown and the Amphan crisis and have decided that they would make up for the group’s lack of savings during the lockdown, by giving money from their stipends. u0022The group also has decided to write a letter of thanks to all the duty-bearers like Panchayats and block officers for their continued help and support during the lockdown,u0022 Jinnatun adds.
